ALOE VERO AND MANGO TO CARE FOR YOUR SKIN

Aloe vera leaves are an effective antidote against skin irritations and burns. Just tear off a leaf, rub it onto the affected area of the skin and let it work. This is also good against diaper rash. Mango is a good ally for dry skin. Just rub the underside of the mango skin onto the area to be treated, leave for a few minutes and then rinse with warm water, leaving the skin soft and smooth.

A MOISTURIZING BATH

To deeply moisturize your skin during your bath, just add a cup of honey, one liter of milk and eight spoons of salt. Your skin will be healthy and soft.

A RELAXING BATH

If you want to truly relax, run a really hot bath and add herbs such as lime flower and chamomile, making an infusion in the water, or wrap the herbs in fine gauze and put the bundle into the water so that the herbs gradually release their essences. Do not stay in the water more for any longer than 20 minutes, as this would dry out your skin.

BUST FIRMER

The best tip for keeping a firm bust consists of mixing a spoonful of white rum with another spoonful of lemon juice. Apply to your bust without touching the nipple area. This will have a revitalizing effect on your bust.

EXFOLIATE YOUR SKIN

If you want to exfoliate your skin, make a mixture of almond oil and salt, and apply to the skin whilst showering for baby soft skin. This is not for use on the face.

EXFOLIATING BODY SCRUBS

If you want to save money on body scrubs, try substituting them with a little body milk or olive oil mixed with a teaspoon of seasalt or sugar. It does the same job, at a fraction of the price.

FIRM UP YOUR BUST

1. Take a small rubber ball and with the arms stretched out, try to press it with all your strength. Do this five times.

2. With the palms of your hands together and pressed against the bust, press one against the other with all your strength; hold for a few seconds and relax.

3. Raise your arms above your shoulders, bend your elbows and clasp your forearms. Press down for about 10 seconds. First put your right arm over the left, and then the opposite way.

4. Standing up with your arms crossed, make small circles, rotating your wrists. Repeat 10 times in one direction and 10 in the other.

HIGHLIGHT YOUR CLEAVAGE

To highlight your cleavage, add a touch of blush in a slightly darker tone than your skin to the cleavage area. In summer, emphasis your bust with a light dusting of translucent powder, or use a self-tanning product for a sunkissed look.

HOMEMADE FOOT TREATMENT

There is nothing quite like a foot treatment in a beauty salon, but if time or money are short, put four or five drops of mint essential oil and the same amount of lavender oil in a bowl of warm water and soak your feet for five minutes. Then plunge your feet into cold water, and repeat the procedure two or three more times. Using a foot bath alternating warm and cold water is particularly good for people who suffer from circulatory problems, edemas or heavy legs.

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN MOISTURIZING CREAM

If you prefer natural products and would love to make your own totally homemade moisturizing cream, all you need are five simple ingredients: 40 grams of almond oil, 10 grams of glycerin, 10 grams of fresh lemon juice, 40 grams of water, and three eggs. Beat the eggs with the glycerin and the lemon, and add the oil without stopping beating. Add the water gradually, still beating continually. Put the mixture into the refrigerator and when it sets you can start to use it. You will notice the results in no time.

HOW TO HAVE BEAUTIFUL SKIN

An alternative to milk due to its high protein value and suitability for vegetarians and vegans, soya has been found to be a very valuable ingredient in cosmetics as it is rich in fatty acids, minerals and vitamins. Make a soy milk bath by mixing 2 cups of instant soy milk powder with half a cup of baking soda. Add half a cup of sea salt and a few drops of lavender oil if you wish. Fill your bath with warm water and add a few spoonfuls of soy milk bath; your skin will be moisturized, squeaky-clean and sweet-smelling.

HOW TO MAKE A HOMEMADE BODY SCRUB

Good exfoliation is the first step to prepare the skin for subsequent treatments, leaving it softer and more receptive. Mix a good handful of rock salt with rosemary oil or olive oil, creating a paste to massage all over the body. Pay special attention to greasy or dry areas of the skin. Do not use this homemade scrub on your face, it is far too harsh for the delicate facial skin.

HOW TO REHYDRATE YOUR SKIN AFTER BATHING

The best time to rehydrate and moisturize your skin is when you get out of the bath, when your skin is still damp. If you want to create a kind of mask for your body, apply a little baby oil to damp skin, and when it has absorbed a little, apply a moisturizing cream. Put on a soft robe or wrap yourself in a large towel and rest for 15 minutes to maintain the feeling of relaxation.

MOISTURIZING SOAP FOR DRY SKIN

Using a bain Marie, melt down ten spoonfuls of grated gentle soap and gradually add one spoonful of olive oil drop by drop, stirring continually. Add a little honey and let the mixture boil until it thickens. Pour into a mold and leave to cool. This soap is ideal for dry skin.

REDUCE STRETCH MARKS

Factors like pregnancy and weight gain or weight loss can cause unsightly stretch marks on areas such as your buttocks, belly, thighs, back and breasts, and it may seem like you will have them forever. To reduce their appearance or even get rid of them, massage in almond oil after showering, and massage in rosehip oil at least once a day. This oil is very beneficial for the skin, as it has a regenerating effect and can be used on damaged areas as well as the rest of the body. Apply aloe vera gel to the stretch marks regularly with a firm stroke, above all just before going to bed.

To achieve a visible reduction in your stretch marks, you must be consistent in applying these treatments to get good results. These products can be found in any pharmacy or beauty salon, and are cheaper than special products designed to reduce stretch marks.

YOGURT FACE MASK

If you want extra moisturization for your skin, mix a little natural yogurt in a bowl with three spoonfuls of lemon juice and oatmeal, if your skin is greasy, and a spoonful of honey, if your skin is dry or normal. Spread the mixture well over clean skin, avoiding the eye area, and leave to dry for 15 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water and dry carefully.
