Here is a selection of essential quick-fix beauty tips. Your hair, feet, face and body will thank you (and us!) for this easy-to-follow advice.

Avocado hair mask

Replenish your hair with an avocado-based hair mask. Mash a ripe avocado and add a spoonful of olive oil and another of honey. Apply to wet hair and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with plenty of water. Your hair should be soft and shiny for weeks afterwards.

Homemade face mask

Renew your skin with this 100% natural face mask. Mix a natural yogurt with lemon juice and a spoonful of oats. This gives an exfoliating mask that also helps get rid of spots and marks on the skin.

Natural exfoliation

For a natural and free scrub to exfoliate your whole body, take a little sand from the beach, mix with moisturizing shower gel and use on the body once a week. This is not suitable for use on the face.

No more dark circles

Few things are more unsightly than dark circles under the eyes. To blot them out, put two cotton pads covered in eye cream in the refrigerator. When they are good and cold, lie down, relax and put the pads over your eyes for as long as you can. Goodbye dark circles! Another alternative is to put a warm, used teabag over each eye.

No more tired eyes

To soothe and revitalize tired eyes, place slices of cool cucumber over closed eyes whilst you lie down and relax.

Perfect feet

Our feet are often neglected and left to get cracked and dry. Pamper them with this incredible homemade foot treatment. Mix a liter of milk with a handful of rock salt and two spoonfuls of olive oil. Massage your feet with this mixture and then apply a moisturizing cream. They will thank you for it!

Preventing stretch marks

To prevent the appearance of stretch marks, especially when you are pregnant or are either losing weight or increasing in weight, get used to giving yourself a daily massage of problem areas such as the belly and thighs using almond oil mixed with rosehip oil. Your skin will be more supple, protected and delicious smelling.

Spot-less back

If you have spots on your back, use an exfoliating cream or scrub once a week. If you have long hair, avoid letting your hair rub against the skin on your back as the friction promotes the appearance of blackhead and spots.
