The original Gatehouse and its barns were built in 1910 as a dairy farm. In 1990 the Jenkinsons purchased and renovated the adjoining Dove House property, turning it into an event facility for weddings, social events and conferences. In March of 1993 they purchased The Gatehouse property and began the renovation process to create another beautiful but larger location for events. The Jenkinsons wanted the look of The Gatehouse to be different from that of The Dove House while still having the same charm, style and flexibility in layout to meet the client’s needs.
