It is the mission of the Montrose Pavilion to provide excellence in customer service, facility and event support of each guest every day. The Pavilion’s staff will promote, maintain, and operate the Pavilion as caring stewards of a valuable resource for the benefit of the people of Montrose, Colorado. A community center had been under consideration during the past two decades by both the City and by various groups and service organizations. In August 1987, the Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Committee identified a community center as a definite need in the community—on e which would incorporate the needs of the cultural community, conventioneers, senior citizens, and youth groups.
