A Sense of Eden's building, at 121 Bridge Street, was purchased in September 1996- bought as is. It was a T.V. repair shop. As you walked into the building, you could see the 70's style orange, green, and brown jungle-looking wall paper, which was peeled away from every corner and seam. Some rooms had wood paneling, and drop ceilings were found almost everywhere. After a year of hard work and demolition, the building's old charm began to show through. Beautiful brick fireplaces were found behind closed walls. Debbie and Jim took every possible route to restore the building's federal style of architecture, which was originally created in 1834. Each individual outside brick was repointed and many replaced with others found outside and in the attic. After painting walls and restoring old woodwork, along with Debbie's flair for decorating- the building has become quite charming!
