May is filled with so many milestones. Our day spa is dedicated to helping you celebrate these events in a healthy, stress-free way. We would like to hear from you. How do you avoid stress? How do you not pick up other people's stress? How can you do better at not passing it on? And what positive actions could we take today to make another's day less stressful? At ESSpa we face a daily dilemma. On one hand, we never want to seem pushy or aggressively "selling". On the other, because the therapies we offer actually deliver real, effective, healthy results - we would be remiss if we did not share the benefits of ESSpa Treatments and encourage you to experience them yourself and introduce them to your friends and family. Many times, particularly during seasonal changes, many of us end up stressed, tired and filled with anxiety. This can create a dangerous cycle that can negatively impact on your overall physical (and mental) health and appearance. When you are stressed, it is almost impossible to think clearly or to really listen to and hear a conversation. Ask yourself this question: When you are stressed, are you really able to listen to what the other person is actually saying? If you are not really listening, then you are not going to be able to properly analyze the conversation and will fail to hear the person who is trying to talk to you. As they struggle to get their point across, or leaves the conversation feeling confused, frustrated, unsatisfied or unheard, what have you really accomplished - other than compounded your stress by creating the same in someone else and increasing your level at the same time? To help reduce stress, anxiety and other chronic ailments, we try to incorporate a "30,000 foot view" to life in addition to our "boots on the ground" (or fingers on the body) treatments.
