Something`s Cooking Catering has been in business since 1984. The business operates out of a 5,000 square foot kitchen located in Long Island City. In addition we have mobile kitchens that enable us to serve customers in a variety of locations. We are a full service caterer specializing in serving the needs of the film, television, advertising and music industry. We have 20 years of experience catering for headliners, casts and crews in locations around the northeast. In addition, we have created and designed menus for hundreds of corporate events, films, television, concerts, sit-down dinners, buffets, cocktail parties and fundraisers for 50 to 5,000 people. What makes Something`s Cooking catering and event planning so unique is that our catering team can design your whole event right down to the last detail including music, flowers, party rentals, service, staff, décor and more. Something`s Cooking is a full service caterer. We have a 5,000 square foot kitchen located in Long Island City plus 4 mobile kitchens, or grills with a chef for hot breakfasts where trucks are not feasible. We do our own baking and purvey our products fresh daily. Our meals are served using glass plates and stainless steel flatware whenever possible. We encourage you to select the menu that will meet your crew`s needs. Our staff has a great deal of experience with the needs of the film industry. We are always interested in your crew's input into their specific likes, dislikes and dietary requirements. We can help you plan a menu that meets your budget and needs. Tables, chairs and linens are available for a fee.
