Everyone from the motivational speaker to the strange and somewhat obscure philosopher says "Have Faith". One says have faith in humanity! Another says have faith in life! Yet another might say have faith in yourself! Still more will add, have faith in your mental powers or thought process, have faith in another person, Have faith! Have faith! Have faith! Rarely does anyone say have faith in God! Even if they do, its such a general reference that I am sure that many times they are not positive of whom they speak! The Man Upstairs, The Good Doctor, The Big Guy or sometimes a timid point to the ceiling represents to an individual a vague image and concept of some kind of God. I have even heard God referred to as "The Big Kahuna".
