Local 802 is the largest local union of professional musicians in the world. We represent musicians who work in New York City and Long Island. Our members live in all five boroughs, all over Long Island, in upstate New York, in New Jersey and in Connecticut. Our mission, simply put, is to fight for the interests and well being of the musicians employed in New York's music and entertainment industries. We do that through organizing and collective bargaining as well as through legislative and political action.
