Bella Musica Chorus is a 20-40 voice chamber chorus based in Berkeley, CA which strives for excellence in the performance of significant choral works, large and small, both a cappella and with orchestra. To meet this goal, the music must be understood by the musician in ways beyond simply reading and producing musical sounds. This moves Bella Musica beyond performance and into the realm of education: in order to provide an enrichment of musical experience and enhance our performances, we emphasize expansion of personal ability and understanding of the music and its context.
