The Dallas Tap Dazzlers were organized by Frances Dempsey in 1990. She felt the routines performed by the group should be more challenging with dazzling costumes than your typical senior dance group. Since that time, the organization has more than tripled growing from just 7 members to over 20 and still growing. They have performed throughout the State of Texas over 1,600 times! They perform for all types of occasions, from nursing homes with an audience of 12-20 to conferences, conventions and banquets attended by thousands. Frances knows how to get things done, and sets very high standards for everything... performance level, energy, makeup, hair, high kicks, and fun! As a result, the Dazzlers have established a reputation as one of the most entertaining and recognizable groups in the Metroplex and are the premier senior tap group of North Texas.
