In the late 70s, a couple of students at Chico Senior High started playing music at their school dances. A DJ team was launched with nothing more than a couple of turn-tables, their "big" collection of 45's and 12 inch vinyl, and whatever sound equipment they could come up with. NCP Sound Systems officially went into business in the spring of 1979. Over the years, Northern California Productions has grown into a full service entertainment vendor.
