Schaffer Sound Productions is a family owned and operated business. Our founder, Ken Schaffer, started the company in 1977 at the ripe old age of fourteen! He started providing DJ entertainment for grade schools and friends' parties and as he grew older, the events he and his staff performed at became more diverse and demand for his company's services soared. Soon, those same students he was playing for in school gymnasiums and cafeterias were getting married and many hired his company to perform at their weddings!
