Daniel Orama is the Founder/Vocal Instructor of The School of Singing located in Nassau County Long Island. His students study the Art of Singing; perform throughout Long Island, land lead roles, and are accepted to prestigious music colleges. Daniel holds a B.A. with Empire State College and is currently completing his M.M. with Five Towns College. He is highly sought after as a voice instructor in the art of singing because of his passion and commitment to the art, and commitment to his students. Daniel studied and worked with Mark Pearson former Vocal Pedagogy Chairman at the New England Conservatory, Robert White Jr. Julliard faculty, Metropolitan tenors Stanford Olsen FSU faculty, and Dan Marek faculty at Mannes Conservatory. Additional studies and work with Greg Mercer (Voice professor at Hofstra and Assistant Conductor of St. Patrick`s Cathedral), Merideth Baker (LI Choral Society Director and conductor) and Terry Champlagne (Guitar Professor at Mannes). In addition, Daniel has studied with Dr. Scott McCoy graduate director at Westminster Choir College and studies with vocal coach Kelley Horsted and voice professor Audra Moricca at Five Towns College.
