DEB Shops specializes in junior and plus-sized merchandise for women aged 13 to 25. We operate more than 340 stores throughout the United States, as well as our on-line store at www.debshops.com. We offer our customer an extensive selection of items in many colors, styles and sizes. Our corporate roots date back to the early 1930's, when the founders of our company operated Joy Hosiery, which was a women's foundation garment business. Since the early 1970's, we have been focused on offering popularly-priced, fashionable, coordinated apparel to the junior-sized and fashion-conscious teen female. Over the past 15 years, we have increased the range of sized we offer to 0 through 26. We want to be the store where our customer can shop for all of her apparel and accessory needs. To accomplish this we offer tops, bottoms, dresses, coats, lingerie, accessories, shoes and novelty items. Our customers do not need to shop other retailers to complete her outfit. Our products are highlighted in advertisements and editorials in national magazines such as Seventeen and Cosmo Girl Prom. We have also been chosen in the past for prom segments on national morning shows such as Good Morning America and the Today Show. Our commitment to the special occasion dress business is unprecedented in the teen apparel market. We are extremely proud of our long, successful history.
