Desert Bloom Florist was inspired by my mother's avid love for gardening. I grew up playing in a backyard lined with rose bushes, bulb flowers, daffodils, iris and tulips, as well as herbs, such as parsley, mint and thyme. I have always loved and appreciated nature, especially flowers. I graduated from Fairfield University with a B.S. in Accounting. After eight years in the corporate world, I decided that I needed a change.
