Antoinette Drouart returned to the United States after living for ten years abroad in Japan and France. She has received formal training in Japanese Flower Arrangements and certificates from the Ikebana Sogetsu School headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Her artistic interests combined with her love of flowers and their therapeutic values, have led her to study and teach the art of Japanese flower arrangement designs. Antoinette was awarded an official Japanese flower name, "Hoshi", whose meaning in English is "Purple Iris". She has designed and arranged many floral displays in Tokyo, New York City and Paris. A member of Ikebana International, Sogetsu Boston Branch, the Orchid Society, and the Nashua Garden Club, Antoinette now specializes in Japanese flower arrangements for display in New Hampshire. She also teaches flower arrangement lessons, in her Boutique, Ikebana Flower, located at 95 West Pearl Street in Nashua, NH.
