Karen Powell & Josie Cicerale initially founded Decor & More, . in 1994 as an interior decorating business made up of home-based independent decorators. After perfecting their Decor Plan systems and unique training programs, they began to structure their business in light of new economic trends and the nature of the changing workforce in the industry. They concluded that their system would be best implemented by a network of franchisees who, as full-time entrepreneurs, would be committed to growing and developing their individual decorating businesses to their fullest potential.
