Express Furniture was founded by Mike Simcox and is one of the largest Ready to Assemble Superstores in America.  We pioneered the concept of ready to assemble superstore and were the first store in the world to offer a complete showroom of Sauder Furniture. We offer affordable furniture that is immediately available with great emphasis on product knowledge and personal attention. The Beginning Mike started out building bookcases for encyclopedia companies at his father’s factory in Akron Ohio. At the end of each week they would run an ad in the local paper and sell overstocked and bookcase seconds’ from their warehouse. Every weekend he sold out, and people started asking for more elaborate pieces.
