Born in New York City, owner Marilyn Janss was trained by two premier jewelers, one of whom designed and manufactured jewelry for Cartier, Tiffany & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpel. She also studied under Joe Costello, a well-known diamond setter in New York City. In 1966, she moved to Naples and became the first local manufacturing jeweler noted for copyrighted designs, such as the Medallion and Cup series. Cleopatra's Barge Fine Jewelry features this GIA-certified jeweler and diamond setter's unique and original designs.
