Established in 1978, in Savannah, Georgia, Marilyn's Art Glass was a brothersister venture. Marilyn Swift moved back to her hometown, Houghton, Michigan in 1991. Today her brother, Mark Mackey, has a large beveled glass studio on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and they remain in contact on larger projects. In 1991, Marilyn reestablished the business on a 10acre hobby farm located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the Houghton, Hancock area, also known as the Copper Country. The name was changed to Marilyn's Stained Glass. Fifteen years and two additions later, Marilyn's Stained Glass has grown from a threecar garage to a 2000 square foot studio, teaching facility, retail supply store, gallery and an apartment to accommodate students from out of town for our Vacation workshops and Glass Camps. 50390 Glass Road, Hancock MI 49930 Phone: (906) 4829139
