Otolaryngology or Ent (Ear, Nose and Throat), is a specialty concerned with the medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck. This specialty encompasses cosmetic facial surgery, management of patients with loss of hearing and balance, examination of air and food passages, and treatment of sinus, laryngeal, thyroid and esophageal disorders, as well as, cancers of the skin, mouth, tongue and throat. Our staff is comprised of Ent Physicians, as well as, Audiologists who are committed to providing the best service available. We believe that all patients should be provided with respectful, quality medical care. We offer an in office operating site providing privacy and confidentiality for numerous facial plastics procedures for qualifying patients. We perform: Blepharoplasty. Face lifts / Rhytidoplasty. Chin implants. Cosmetic nose reshaping. All of our audiologists maintain memberships with the American Academy of Audiology, American Speech-Language Hearing Association and are licensed by the State of North Carolina in Audiology and the North Carolina Hearing Aid Board. Audiology is defined as the study of hearing. We perform a variety of tests to identify hearing loss in our patients aging from infant to geriatric. We are also a licensed distributor of hearing instruments ranging from pocket devices to completely-in-the-ear hearing aids.
