Dr. Baum has been in the practice of medicine for over 35 years, bridging the gap between Allopathic, Osteopathic and Alternative Medicine. Dr Baum is licensed to practice in New Mexico, Hawaii, California and Texas. Trained in Medicine, General Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, Prolotherapy, Sclerotherapy, Neural Therapy and Chelation Therapy, Dr. Baum’s major focus for years has been on Pain Management and Orthopedic Medicine. Dr. Baum was one of the instructors of the American College of Osteopathic Pain Management and Sclerotherapy. The term Sclerotherapy originally referred to Pain Management, Spine and Joint Reconstruction. Now the term Prolotherapy is more often referred to as a Method of Spine and Joint Reconstruction and Pain Management. The term Sclerotherapy is now used commonly for treatment of varicose veins. Over the last 10 years Dr. Baum has integrated Functional and Anti-Aging Medicine into his practice. Dr Baum was Preceptor trained in the French Style Mesotherapy through the Bissoon Institute of Mesotherapy.
