Building on over a century of experience, the Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) brings more than 85 prominent cardiovascular physicians together with one of the premier cardiac centers in the region. The Institute's express purpose is to provide a new and innovative model to facilitate and enhance the quality of cardiovascular care for the community. The first integrated cardiovascular healthcare delivery program affiliated with a community healthcare system in greater Atlanta, the Institute aims to advance cardiovascular research, education and clinical excellence in cardiac disease prevention, cardiac diagnosis and treatment, and coronary and vascular intervention.
