One cool evening in 2003 while on a weekend retreat at 1810 Country Inn & Winery, Tom De Rossett Jr. envisioned an idea to further enhance the total perspective of the company's future by improving the grounds of the Inn and converting the plantation to a fully functional Winery with grape varieties and select fruit available from the vineyards and orchards that would be planted on the scenic grounds of the property. Tom and Ann then designed agreements to execute the plan as partners. They determined that a winery would showcase and serve as the brand identification for the retail operations nationwide. Tom effected agreements to execute that plan with his new partner, Ann Rosenberg. Shortly thereafter, on a visit to the wonderful southern mountain region of Colorado, Tom had another vision, the creation of Montezuma Vineyards. Montezuma Vineyards Restaurant featuring a 4 star Restaurant, a casual dining room, and a flagship Lets Make Wine facility had turned this location into a hot spot for tourists and local patrons that frequent the complex facility. Situated on Cool Springs Ranch will supply the select wines for tasting and purchasing at Montezuma Vineyards Restaurant. This wine will also act as the brand identifier for the retail operations worldwide.
