Description
What is the difference? A lot of my customers ask me what the difference is between Dry carpet cleaning and Steam carpet cleaning. Dry carpet cleaning is for carpets that are lightly soiled and just need a light cleaning. Dry carpet cleaning only cleans the carpet fibers since this process does not use suction. Dry cleaning is where the carpet cleaning tech uses a floor buffer with a special brush for carpet. The carpet cleaning tech will vacuum, spray cleaning solution and deodorizer on the carpets to be cleaned and then the tech will run the floor buffer over the carpet. The dirt and stains are absorbed with cotton pads called bonnets. Steam carpet cleaning services are used to remove heavily soiled carpets or if you have spills and odors. If you have spills, pet stains, pet odors or deep ground in dirt, then steam cleaning is what you need to truly clean your carpets. Steam carpet cleaning with a truck mounted unit which is the machine that stays out in the van and the carpet cleaning tech brings their hoses from the van into your house is the best. With the steam carpet cleaning process the cleaning tech will vacuum if needed then they will pre spray and pre treat any spots, stains and high traffic areas with the cleaning solution and a deodorizer. After the carpets have been treated the carpet cleaner should go over the carpet and extract the dirt and the solution from the carpet and pad with hot water and steam. Now, depending on who you call to clean your carpets, If they do not flush out the carpet and pad with just hot water and steam then your carpets can re soil very quickly. Most people that have their carpets dry cleaned do so because it is cheaper and usually dries in one hour. Customers over the years have told me that they don't like steam cleaning because the last time they hired a big company they showed up and were done cleaning there carpets in less than 30 minutes, the carpets took like one and a half days to dry and the carpets looked dirty again only after a couple of weeks. These customers carpets stayed wet for a day and a half because the company they hired went so fast that they didn't extract very much of the water and solution they were spraying into the carpet. When a company does not take the extra time for extraction. The carpet and pad stays soaked and can take a really long time to dry, and because they didn't take the extra time on the extraction, the majority of the soap or cleaner they sprayed stays in the carpet and will cause them to re soil very quickly. I found a way to give my customers that need a steam carpet cleaning service, the best carpet cleaning at a great price and that will dry in two to three hours and guaranteed not to re soil for six months. I use a Dynachem truck mount. I pre spray the carpet, stains, pet stains and high traffic stains first. How can I guarantee that Your carpets will not re soil or take all day to dry? After I have sprayed the cleaning solution I go over all the carpeted areas with my cleaning wand and extract the cleaning solution and deodorizer with hot water and steam but after I have extracted the cleaner from the carpet and pad I go back over the carpet with my wand just using suction. I extract as much moister that I can so your carpets dry quickly? If you want a carpet cleaning from someone who really cares than call North Texas Mighty Clean.
