I started this business as a means to make some extra money and to give me some peace of mind. I am a full-time working mom with 2 boys ages 8 and 4 ~ my pride and joy. In April 2002 fell and broke his leg. He was in a body cast and I had to take a 10 week leave of absence to care for him. I was heartbroken when I had to return to work. I was only back to work for a week when I got a call from my then 6 year old's school that he had fallen off the monkey bars and broken his arm. I decided at that time I needed to spend more time with them and less time at work. So I scoured the internet looking for stay at home business opportunities. I came across an ebook about making personalized candy wrappers. It peaked my interest, but I thought who needs a book, I'm pretty creative. So I got my creative juices flowing and made wrappers for my husbands year high school reunion. The response was overwhelming. People came out of the woodwork and started asking me to do wrappers for them. It's really been great. I soon branched out and began making birth announcements and invitations.
