The original Joe Brand Store opened in 1935 as a men`s store in downtown Laredo. Joe Brand himself was a very progressive merchandiser and his uniqeness showed in the marketing of his store (see some of the original ads above) which continued to grow steadily. Joe`s wife, Josephine, ran the women`s business, and later their daughter, Linda, and son-in-law, Seymon, joined the team. The McAllen store was added in the 70`s and the rest, as they say, is history. Today we are proud to be celebrating 75 years in Fashion! Currently the Joe Brand store company operates as a high-end specialty retailer complete with men`s, women`s, cosmetics, fine jewelry, watches, accessories, shoes and even gifts for the home.
