After serving as President and CEO of Mayors Jewelers for 11 years and selling it to a public company, in 2001, Samuel Getz made the decision to pursue what he loved: designing jewelry. A third generation jeweler, Samuel knows what makes jewelry--and the women wearing it--feel special. He combines his outstanding eye for unique gemstones with his exceptional detail to design and creates inspiring, one-of-a-kind pieces. Samuel approaches design differently than most: rather than designing and then finding a stone that works, he travels the world looking for these rarities and then designs the piece specifically in order to enhance each stone's natural wonder. He hopes that his designs encourage an understanding and appreciation for what he himself is so passionate about, and he constantly strives to create original designs that will excite the wearer and make them feel like they own something special.
