1st Image Photography offers a variety of photographic services. Your Location is Our Studio when filling your photographic needs. Since 1980, 1st Image Photography has provided unique group and individual portraiture, whether Professional, or Personal, as well as servicing all types of events. Bob Messina has offered professional photography since the mid 1970s. He received his Bachelor`s degree from Loyola Marymount University in 1972 with a major in History. Two years later, he picked up a camera for the very first time and discovered his talent and fascination for photography. He is one of California`s foremost portrait and events photographers. Bob started his photo business in 1980. He works in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, but he will go anywhere a client requires. He has filled assignments in Las Vegas, Orange and San Diego Counties. He is diligent about continuing education in his profession, so he goes to seminars and attends educational classes in his chosen field. In addition, he is a member of Professional Photographer`s of America (PPA), Sports & Event Photographers, Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association, Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, Valley Industry Association and The Knights of Columbus. Bob lives in Santa Clarita with his wife Angie and their two dogs, Wally and Beary. Angie helps with the accounting side of the business and assists at photo events. Suzanne Klein helps with the day-to-day operation of the business. Baseball is another one of Bob`s passions. He used to umpire professional baseball in the Pacific Northwest. Until 2009, for the better part of 40 years, he officiated five different sports at the high school and major college level.
