Description
At Lightsmith we are dedicated to doing everything possible to insure our clients get the best possible images, print enlargements and custom albums with a minimum of fuss. Located in the Bay area, we photograph weddings from Big Sur to San Francisco as well as destination weddings. For me, wedding photography is a process that begins with my first meeting with a couple when I am able to provide insights on how best to plan the day, including venue considerations, and all areas that can impact both their enjoyment of the day and the images that we will capture. I am the only vendor that is with the couple for the entire day, and as a result I have a better understanding of what works well and what may create problems the day of the wedding. Nearly a quarter of my time goes into pre-wedding day activities, including planning and scheduling for the day, reviewing the time line, hotel, preparation, and vendor logistics with both the couple and their venue coordinators. I setup the engagement session including scouting locations, do the session photography, process the image files and create the electronic Flip Album for reviewing the images. From the images the couple selects, I design a custom guest book that is printed and bound. Half my effort occurs after the wedding day, in editing the images, uploading them for guest orders, doing the image color correction, creating an electronic Flip Album that is burned to a DVD, retouching the album and print enlargement images, designing the albums, and then overseeing their production. I provide couples with a finished product, including pictures ready to frame and albums that will last a lifetime. Couples that choose to invest in Lightsmith for their wedding photography appreciate the end to end commitment that shows in everything we do. I am the principal photographer for all our wedding commissions, teaming with established second photographers with years of experience photographing weddings. I never use inexperienced photographers wishing to gain experience at photographing weddings. All my couples receive a two hour engagement session. This provides an excellent dry run for their wedding day as well as the pictures for a custom guest book. Couples go into their wedding day with more confidence, knowing they will look great in their pictures and being more comfortable in front of the camera. I look forward to hearing from you and learning about you and your special day.
