Photography is an amazing way to chronicle your journey through life. As with most businesses, there is a story of how this journey in photography grew to be my business. After graduating from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) in 1997 with my Mechanical Engineering Degree I went to work for Motorola in Atlanta. Yes, I am an artist and a nerd! Once you meet me you will quickly realize I was not destined to sit in a cubicle designing cell phone batteries on a computer. My passion is for life, people and relationships. I turned this passion in to opening a photography studio in 2001. Missing the state of Florida I decided to move back in 2005. This was actually to be closer to the Gator Home Football Games, but shhhhh my family thinks it was to be closer to them! One turning point in my life was the death of my Uncle Lou. He was like the Godfather of our family and I was very close to him. While preparing for his funeral I quickly realized there were only a handful of photographs with the two of us in them! I was shocked and couldn’t believe this. I soon realized how important it was to capture the time we have on this earth with our loved ones and to make sure this time is immortalized forever in portraiture.
