Michelle is an award winning photographer whose work has been featured in This Week in Texas, as well as appearing in many other national magazines. Her work has been purchased by the State of New Mexico, The Autry Museum of Western Heritage in Los Angeles, as well as various private collections, and has been shown in various galleries across the country. Michelle, a native of New Orleans, grew up enjoying the unique landscape and architecture of the city. After receiving her degree in photography she traveled extensively. Along her journey, Michelle stopped often to experience and record the wonders she found in everyday places. Michelle has worked professionally as a photographer since 1972. Living for a time in Texas and New Mexico, before returning to her native New Orleans. She combines her traditional training in photography with her flair for fine art to give you images of quality and beauty that you will treasure for a lifetime. Her work touches your emotions. Her images record not only the image but also the feelings of everyday surroundings. Michelle states The work that I produce comes form the heart. When I look around, I don't see lines and shapes. I see the beautiful spirit of the universe that we are each a part. I see the web of all things in existence intertwined. Each element has its own spirit, that essence that makes it unique. In my images I try to capture that spirit, that elusive essence that all too often we just pass by. If I can help one person to stop and take notice, we all will benefit.
