2223 is a treasured neighborhood restaurant serving lively cocktails and modern American cuisine. Melinda Randolph, the original chef and current owner, oversees every aspect of the restaurant, from flowers to music to the menu. "It's like throwing a lot of dinner parties in your home: everything has to be just right, and of course the food has to be outstanding." Ideal for an evening lingering over great food, conversation and wine, for a quick snack and cocktail with friends at the bar, or even just dessert, 2223 is an early or late-night dinner place for every occasion. We are open for dinner nightly and serve a wonderful Sunday Brunch. Our bar opens @ 5:00, the dining room @ 5:30. We serve until 9:30 Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 Friday and Saturday. Sunday brunch service from 10:00 to 2.30. 2223 is located at 2223 Market Street between Sanchez and Noe, in the wonderful Castro District. We are walking distance from Church Street and the J,K,L & M muni lines.
