Since 1985, EastQuest has been arranging travel to Asia. The company was founded by a backpacker with degrees in Asian Studies and Anthropology. After circling the globe by the age of 21, she began leading groups to China, Russia, Japan, Thailand and Indonesia and saw a need for smaller group trips as well as customized trips. Beginning with small escorted groups exploring the borders of China, Thailand, Burma, Tibet, Bhutan, and Nepal, EastQuest became known for our knowledge of newly opened areas and our customized itineraries. Most of us have lived and worked in Asia for years and we make numerous trips back to update our knowledge. EastQuest maintains active membership in ASTA, IATA, PATA, the Better Business Bureau and the Ecotourism Society and will provide client references upon request.
