The Maya Couture bridal showroom is much more than just the same old white strapless ball gown, hanger after hanger, after hanger. We choose our designers and gowns carefully to provide you with a comprehensive bridal selection we have over 400 bridal gowns in stock, and we will wow you with the diverse and unique necklines, fabrics, colors and details we represent. Maya Couture bridal consultants are trained professionals who know and understand fabric, fit, and a woman`s body. We listen to your needs, learn about your vision, and work with you to bring all the details together into the perfect wedding gown for You. Whether we are selling a gown from one of our representative bridal designers or creating a custom gown, our commitment to the bride remains the same to help each bride realize her vision and to walk down the aisle in the gown of her dreams! There are two very important aspects to the perfect wedding gown. The first is finding your dream gown. The second is altering the gown to fit you perfectly. Unless you actually had your gown custom-made, then most brides can expect to have a series of alterations done on her gown to achieve the perfect fit. One of the most important things to understand is that altering a bridal gown or formal dress is an art form, and not all tailors have the expertise to properly adjust these garments. Just because they can hem hundreds of pants, does not qualify them to work on formal wear. It's apples and oranges. You can also expect to pay more for bridal gown and formal wear alterations than on everyday street clothes. We have two full-time seamstresses who, combined, have over 45 years experience specializing in wedding gown and formal wear alterations. At Maya Couture, we pride ourselves on "completing the look" for our brides and bridal parties. As a full-service salon, we offer an array of accessories from the classic to the Avant Garde. We offer shoes from Dyeables, Pink, and Benjamin Adams. Our veils, tiaras, and combs are by Edward Berger. Additionally, to enhance our custom design and one-of-a-kind services and products, we also work with local designers who will customize a look especially for you and/or the members of your bridal party. Christina Moscone of Christina`s Crystals can create exquisite jewelry of genuine Swarovski Crystals. Local headpiece designer, Leslie Leadbeater, has some of the most fanciful hair décor I`ve ever seen. Both ladies will work one-on-one with our clients for that simply special and unique accessory to compliment your wedding day beauty. Custom design is also our specialty, and what sets us apart from the rest. We have a repertoire of custom made veils and headpieces to choose from, or we`d be honored to design something specifically for you. The tuxedo and suit options for the groom and his party are endless. With Jim's Formal Wear as our provider, you can mix and match any tuxedo style with any vest and tie collection. The color palate is extensive and you will find all of today's hottest color combinations.
