In the spring of 1971 while studying in the school library I picked up a copy of the current "Life" magazine, on the cover was, Tricia Nixon in her wedding gown...from that moment I knew that I wanted to pursue a fashion career, however after seeing the Nixon bride, I knew that the bridal industry was for me. After finishing my education, I started to pursue a relationship with Priscilla Kidder, the owner and founder of Priscilla of Boston, the finest bridal house in American history...the designer who dressed the bridesmaids of Princess Grace, and dressed White House brides in two different administrations.
