Back in 1974, Dan Trotochaud, Sr. left behind a year career in men's clothing sales to start Dan's Rent-a-Tux. The name said it all. It was Upper Michigan's only tuxedo rental specialist. From its very first bridal season, the business was a surprising success. Together with his wife June, the Trotochauds owned and operated the business until 1981. Unfortunately, failing health forced the charismatic Trotochaud into retirement.
