Fresh Touch, a full service dry cleaner, specializes in cleaning, restoring and preserving wedding gowns, bridal gowns, christening gowns, delicate and antique fabrics. Fresh Touch is located in the Boston area, but receives and ships gowns and other precious fabrics all over the United States. This site provides a link to United Parcel. Fresh Touch has been in business since 1982. It was started by Bruce B. Smith, who had gained valuable business experience as an executive at major consumer products companies. He also learned to despise the shirt laundries that broke his buttons and pressed wrinkles into the collars. The business is still owned and operated as a family business. We offer all the services a customer would normally expect from a full service drycleaner, but over the years we have developed the love and expertise needed to care for fragile garments, especially wedding gowns. Elaine had tears of joy and sadness glistening in her eyes as she explained that her grandmother had made the dress for Elaine's mother and Elaine wanted to wear the dress for her own wedding. It had not been properly preserved. There were some stains that could not be removed and a little alteration was required, but she wore the dress anyway. Their deaths years before prevented her mother and grandmother from attending the wedding, but they were remembered and their presence was felt.
