Nino Futia has been outfitting the Capital District with quality top-of-the-line tuxedos and formal wear for all types events for over 40 years. Brides, grooms, debutante escorts, attendees at formal dances and holiday parties, fund raisers, and corporate events have been depending on Nino and Anna and their expertise to guide them in etiquette, and all the social graces as well as making sure they are dressed to perfection in the proper style and elegance for that special event. As an expert tailor, Nino takes personal pride in ensuring that every tuxedo that leaves the store is fit to the perfection and style of the patron. Nino also performs expert alterations and custom tailors all types of clothing, not just formal wear. He makes sure everyone looks perfect in the clothing that leaves his shop. Appropriate attire is extremely important to Nino and he is happy to go the extra steps needed to assure that his customers are totally satisfied. He is one of those special folks that loves what he does and that and all his experience makes him an expert in his field. The Capital District is lucky to have the Futias on their side! Nino Futia literally has been a tailor most of his life! He was born and educated in Calabria, Italy and became a tailor's apprentice at the very young age of 12 and as was the custom then, Nino worked many long hours with no wages. After six years of apprenticing, he emigrated to America where he worked in several retail stores in their tailoring departments. Currently, Nino's store also features a large selection of tuxedos and accessories in a wide variety of styles and colors for rent or sale. Nino takes a great deal of pride in his work and appreciates the loyalty of his customers. Some folks have been customers since the business began and now their children and grandchildren come for Nino's special care and expertise.
