Pre-wedding beauty treatments

Time for you both to get gorgeous!

Make any appointments for beauty treatments such as waxing, tanning, manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow shaping during the week before the wedding.

The groom may even want a manicure as all eyes will be on his hands, and they will be seen in the photos and video for years to come.

A massage would be a real treat; the two of you could even book a couple massage and spend an evening at a health spa for a relaxing shared experience during an often stressful time.

Remember that the bride’s last facial should be around two weeks before the wedding to allow the skin time to settle down and look glowing on the day.

If you are on a weight loss diet, stick to it, but do not starve yourself or go on a crash diet. You need all the energy you can get for the coming days, and it is now getting too late to alter the bride’s wedding gown if you suddenly lose too much weight.

Hair treatments, colors and cuts

Two weeks before the wedding is the best time for the bride and groom to have their hair cut, colored and treated.

This gives your hair the chance to “settle” before the wedding day, avoiding unpleasant surprises if things don’t quite go according to plan.

And one last piece of advice: make sure you get plenty of beauty sleep in preparation for the big day!
